Welcome to our new blog - C & C's big adventure -
This blog is our way of letting family and friends see the road through our eyes, and we hope you will enjoy reading it as much as we will enjoy sharing it.
Packing has already started in our soon to be home on the road. Socks, pots and pans, Pam cooking spray, coffee, water jugs, popcorn, fishing rods, shampoo, matches, aluminum foil, and .... well you get the idea.
Charlie has been working hard to make sure everything is up and running and is on a first name basis with both the furnace and the refrigerator. : ) He has also built shelves in the kitchen pantry, and our clothing closets ( i.e. we each get one kitchen sized cabinet apiece) rewired the tv, and attached it to an articulating arm to better use our space. I have selected the bowls, pots and pans, linens and washed the front windshield's 48 foot curtain, ( yes, I am not exaggerating) and started making possible menu and grocery lists.... hmmm, do I sense a traditional gender split here? I think Charlie has even worked out a way for us to be making some of his delicous soup while we are driving down the road, so everything is almost set and we are counting down the days until we go.
So come along and join us as we continue to get ready and then as we start making tracks in June.
